Mary Janes

MARY JANE

The women shoes worn in the 60’s (fun fact: in the 20’s by kids), are back in fashion! Our icon Twiggy is considered to be the trendsetter back then. So they could be the shoes you would associate to your grand mum. Well, times changed. It’s incredible how quickly they were spread all over the streets. Still there’s a difference to then: It’s all about strong colours and satin. Take a look at our professionals and do it their way.

My personal favorite is Chiara’s pair by Valentino:

denim for summer

denim2

May I introduce you to my new denim skirt? I already mentioned in another article (here) that I was going to get one myself and here we go. You can’t imagine how much summer makes me happy. I have the feeling that it’s way easier to get dressed during this time. Skirts, shorts, blouses, tanktops, sandals, cropped tops and so on, everything is possible! I have never been a big fan of skirts in general but this classic denim piece might have got me into it. Lately I’ve been obsessed with all kinds of skirts and started off trying different things. I’m wearing it together with a sleeveless light blue blouse, Aldo cross sandals and the Valentino black lockbag.

Another fact I like about summer is that if you have made it to a certain skin tone, all the colours just match. Try to go a bit crazy with your makeup too. I guarantee you, it feels so good! I went for the Kiko smart lip pencil in coral.

Olivia Palermo’s best looks

OLIVIA NEW YORK

Olivia Palermo is one of the most influential people regarding street style. There’s no other woman on the international fashion streets like her. As soon as she appears outside of the shows this girl attracts a huge crowd and it’s not even possible to get to her. I literally experienced it myself but I was lucky enough to get her on camera on time (last report here). After being cast in the reality TV show ‘the city’ she launched her successful fashion blog oliviapalermo.com and did some modelling for fashion brands like Max Mara, Mango, Hogan and many more.

Olivia represents a timeless, precious and elegant style. There’s not one thing I wouldn’t get out of her closet. Definitely one of my absolute favorites.
On the top I picked out the best street style looks for you.
From fringe, wide skirts to culottes she wears it all.

(btw. have you noticed the dior so real sunnies from my last sunglasses report?
I told you they are everywhere! – report here)

White Valentino

Today I finally found the time to shoot my new purchases from Milan. This weekend, just after my exams, we drove to Italy to see our family. I could finally turn off my brain after studying with good conscience. So I took the time for one of my favorite (and I think every girl’s favorite) activities. You can’t go to the fashion metropole without doing some serious shopping. I’m wearing this kind of a jewel, Valentino, in combination with an all white look and camel lace up heels.

Espadrilles

Valentino Espadrilles

I call them the shoes of the upcoming season. You can’t walk by a shop without spotting some espadrilles in the window. Their popularity gets bigger every year and with good reason. So I have to say that a pair of them is a Must-Have for everyone. They make the perfect match to every look. If it’s a summer dress or simply combined with jeans, there isn’t a way you can’t wear them. Think of these words next time you go shoe-shopping and now get inspired by some personal favorites of mine. On the top : Valentino

It Bags

P00131344--STANDARD

This time I’m dedicating my post to the itbags of the moment. & with the moment I mean that they will stay the IT-bags for a while .. I already mentioned the chloé drew bag so I won’t be annoying you with that one even if it’s quite hard not to put this little jewel in here, believe me.

So let’s get started with the Valentino Lock Mini Shoulder Bag. You can get them in three different sizes which makes things easier for the women who have problems finding bags with the right size ( One of them is writing this article ). Another big plus is the colour choice you have. From multicoloured to pastels and decorated ones you will find them all.

Next one the Saint Laurent Sac du Jour, already seen on the model Sanne Vloet at Paris Fashionweek and many more bloggers. Again you can find them in many colours and sizes ( Yes that’s the advantage of itbags! ).

The Céline bags got popular all over the world so probably I won’t have to introduce the Belt Bag & the Mini Tie Handbag. Blogger Kristina Bazan got hers in a dark military green-brown.
